• Written tests (Listening, Reading and Writing sections) are usually administered in the morning of the test date.

• Speaking tests are usually administered in the afternoon or on the next working day or days after the written tests. However, depending on the size of the test group, speaking tests may be scheduled any time from five days before to five days after the written component. Candidates would be receiving confirmation letters or phone calls with the test details including their Speaking/Interview time slots.

Please call our office at least 3 days prior to the test date to confirm the venue and time for the written tests if you have not been notified in writing

RELEASE OF TEST RESULTS
Test results are available two weeks after the test date.

Can I take The test again?
Yes, after May 1st 2006, all candidates can re-take the test as soon as they like regardless of when the took the test. The same registration procedures apply for those who want to re-take the test.

TEST SCHEDULE
The written test usually takes place from 9am to 12.15pm (Listening, Reading, & Writing). Speaking test (fifteen minutes) can be scheduled anytime within one week before or after the written test.

FORWARDING OF TEST REPORT FORMS TO AGENCIES ABROAD (e.g. ICHP, CGFNS)
Candidates must fill out request form and pay the corresponding overseas courier fee of £11 (TRF is included in the cost). Candidates may request up to a maximum of five additional TRF's for designated institutions and organizations.

TRANSFER POLICY:
If a candidates wants to transfer or changed the scheduled test time, a minimum of five weeks notice before the original test date must be given. An administration fee of P500 will be charged. No transfer will be allowed within five weeks of the scheduled test date. Candidates are allowed a maximum of three transfers. Transferring of slots to another person is not permitted.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellation for reserved IELTS places are entertained on the basis of a valid reason. Requests for refunds made before the test date will be subject to the following:

• Five weeks of more - full refund of the test fee (less 10% administrative charge).

• Less than five weeks before the scheduled test date - no refund.

• If a candidate is absent on the test day without prior notice, the candidate will normally forfeit their full test fee. However, in case of sickness, a medical certificate must be provided by the candidate, then he/she can be rescheduled to the next available test date. Absent candidates are give up to five working days to present proper documents that would merit rescheduling of test dates. All requests are subject to the approval of EMS/ Director.

• Candidates will be offered an alternative test date as soon as possible if they were delayed by circumstances beyond their control (ie. transport strike).

• If the centre is forced to cancel the test, or change the venue or timing of the test for whatever reason, candidates will be contacted immediately by telephone, and an alternative test date will be arranged.

Checks can be collected two weeks after completed refund form has been submitted.
